35 temporary, full-time Laundry Attendants from 3/21/25 to 11/1/25 in Myrtle Beach. No minimum education or experience required. On the job training provided. Perform all stages of linen processing (i.e. sort soiled and unsoiled linens). Clean laundry machines, assist in laundry inventories, clean laundry area, fold and store laundry. Examine and sort into lots of articles to be cleaned, according to color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique required. Sort and count articles removed from dryers, and fold, wrap or hang them. Operate washer, dryer, check in and check out computer equipment. Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours at a time in a fast-paced environment. Ability to move/lift 50lbs such as: linen, linen carts, and/or bags of linen. Minimum 35 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Shifts vary: 6:00am-2:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, 4:00pm-12:30am each shift includes a 30-minute unpaid break. Hours and shifts may vary based on business volume. Wage: $15.00-$17.00 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Performance evaluation and departmental increases may be provided. Raises or bonuses are at the employer’s discretion. In South Carolina, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at a rate of $22.50- $25.50 per hour, depending on locality of the work performed and the base rate of pay. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received weekly. Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law and deduct approved cost of housing if worker elects. Optional employee only shared housing is offered for workers who are relocating to begin employment. In the event surplus housing is available, it may occasionally be offered to local workers. Optional employee only shared housing, approx. $100/wk. utilities incl., refundable deposit approx. $100. The security deposit will be refunded in the last paycheck if unit is left in good condition with no damage (at employer’s discretion). Transportation provided by employer from shared employee housing to main worksite. Employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment to perform job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). If worker completes half the employment period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed early, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. All transportation costs are to be preapproved. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs. Receipts must be submitted. Criminal background check and post-injury/incident drug test required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
