What can you expect?

Hospitality Operations Interns can look forward to obtaining valuable experience and skills in Myrtle Beach, SC, a bustling coastal metropolis that welcomes over 10 million visitors each year!  Every internship offered can be customized to fit the requirements of each candidate’s curriculum requirements. All internships offered by Brittain Resorts & Hotels are compensated, so interns can earn while they learn and enjoy all the perks of a summer on the shore. Candidates who have completed internships will be considered for permanent positions and advancement opportunities within the company.

What will you be doing?

As a Hospitality Operations Intern, you will immerse yourself in resort operations, gaining hands-on experience tailored to your interests and career aspirations. Whether your passion lies in guest services, food & beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, or general operations, this internship offers insight into the essential functions of resort management. Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to shadow our managers, deepen your understanding of how various departments collaborate, and work toward achieving your personalized internship goals.

Internship FAQs

  • Is this internship paid?  Yes, all of our internships are paid.  Pay rate is dependent upon prior experience, but no experience is require to apply.
  • Am I eligible for internship credit with my school?  Internship requirements vary by school, so you will need to check with your institution for details.
  • Which resort will I be placed at for my internship?  We have several locations along the Grand Strand interested in accepting interns, so there are multiple options for placement.
  • Are the hours full-time or part-time?  Both full-time and part-time options are available.
  • When can I start? Our internships are primarily offered in the spring and summer, though different start times may be possible.
