What will you be doing?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vacation Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies on vacation rental portals such as VRBO and Airbnb. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong background in sales and marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the travel industry.

Vacation Sales and Marketing Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
      • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets on all vacation rental portals.
      • Identify new sales opportunities and markets for vacation packages.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with Airbnb, VRBO, HVMI and other vacation rental partners.
  • Marketing Strategy Development:
      • Work with the marketing department to create and implement marketing campaigns to promote our properties across various vacation rental channels.
      • Build and maintain affective revenue generating ads on all vacation rental channels.
      • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
      • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and customers.
      • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
      • Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
      • Work in conjunction with the Director of Reservations to motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
      • Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
      • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
      • Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing performance.
      • Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
      • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing (3+ years preferred), preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Experience with OTAs strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and CRM software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Passion for travel and creating exceptional customer experiences.
